Storage:
- Consume the product within 3 months from the packaging date.
- Be sure to keep the packaging sealed in the freezer to maintain freshness.
- Keep the product frozen at-12 C.
Defrosting:
- It is advisable to defrost the product before preparing.
- Defrost at room temperature or in a microwave oven.
- Our bags are safe for microwave use and B.P.A free.
Finished Products Instructions
Bain Marie / Sousvide Method:
- Heat plenty of water in a saucepan.
- Once boiling, immerse the closed bag and let it boil for 15-20 minutes or until the product is hot.
- This method ensures that the product retains all its juices.
- Our Bags are B.P.A. free and safe to use in a bain-marie.
Other Heating Methods:
- Pour the contents of the bag into a frying pan or saucepan and sauté with oil (olive, vegetable, butter or lard).
- Heat in microwave oven for 3 minute periods.
Unfinished Products Instructions
Foods with raw protein:
- Sauté in a frying pan or saucepan with oil (olive, vegetable, butter or lard).
- Grill to obtain a delicious result.
- Bake in a refractory.
Pasta:
- Heat plenty of water with salt in a saucepan.
- As soon as it starts to boil, pour the contents of the bag into the water.
- Let it boil for 10-12 minutes.
- Drain.
- Cover with a delicious Local Food sauce: Bolognese, 4 Cheese or Pesto.
- Defrost at room temperature in its aluminum container.
- Once thawed, bake in its aluminum container at 180 C for 20-30 minutes.
French Toast:
- Defrost the bread at room temperature or in the microwave oven for 1 minute.
- In a container, beat an egg. Add 15 ml of milk.
- Add the Local Food envelope with vanilla, spices and powdered sugar.
- Soak the thawed bread in the mixture, on both sides.
- Sauté in a pan with butter or oil over low heat.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. You can decorate with fruits.
Chocochips Cookies:
- Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet, making sure to space them 10cm apart.
- Let it defrost at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 175°C.
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are cooked; The center will be soft and the cookies will have a light golden color.
- Allow the cookies too cool for 1 minute.
